Tehdy měl LL méně svalů i méně hitů, což se ale postupem času změnilo a J-Love vám nyní několik z nich v rámci svého výběru „The Icon, The Legend“ připomene. Dnes už pozice romantika LL Cool Je, jehož mladším bratrem musí být dle vizáže zpěvák Trey Songz, není tak neotřesitelná jako kdysi.
